Deputy Governor Emetu Visits Uwanna’s Country Home, Congratulates Him on Elevation to SAN

The Deputy Governor of Abia State, His Excellency, Engr. Ikechukwu Emetu, FNSE, earlier today visited the country home of the Abia State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Bar. Ikechukwu Uwanna, SAN, in Isuikwuato Local Government Area in honour of his recent elevation to the prestigious rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN).

Speaking during the visit, the Deputy Governor congratulated Bar. Uwanna on the remarkable milestone, describing the conferment of the SAN rank on him as a well-deserved recognition of his dedication, professionalism, and contributions to the legal profession.

Engr. Emetu commended the Attorney General for his commitment to justice and service to Abia State, expressing confidence that the honour would further inspire him to continue advancing the rule of law and strengthening the administration of justice in the state and the nation at large.

Responding, Bar. Uwanna thanked the Deputy Governor for the visit and the show of support, expressing appreciation for the recognition. He assured that the elevation would further motivate him to redouble his efforts in the service of Abia State and Nigeria, while upholding the high standards and responsibilities expected of a Senior Advocate of Nigeria.

A civic reception in honour of Bar. Uwanna, SAN, is scheduled to hold later at Anunco Field, Isuikwuato, and will be hosted by the Mayor of Isuikwuato Local Government Area and Chairman of the Abia State chapter of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), Hon. Chinedu Ekeke.

The Deputy Governor was accompanied on the visit by the Member representing Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Amobi Ogah; the Mayor of Ohafia Local Government Area, Hon. Chief Eleanya Ojuu Kalu, alongside other dignitaries.
